Course Description:
In 1925, the Sail Ho Golf Course was constructed as a four-hole golf course. It was originally built as part of a continuing program of physical fitness and well being included in recruit training. Over time, the course was expanded several times into its current layout, a nine-hole short distance course. The Sail Ho Golf Course is listed as a national historic resource within the NTC Historic District, and will be preserved and rehabilitated as part of the overall redevelopment program.
